About the writer:
Fiona Gregory, BA (Hons), PhD (ANU), is a lecturer in the school of English, Communications and Performance Studies at Monash University. She has taught courses in theatre history, nineteenth century literature, contemporary fiction and comedy. She has research interests in nineteenth and twentieth century literature and culture, and is currently completing a book on actors and performance identity.
