Dictionary Skills for Years 3 & 4

Dictionary Skills Grades 3/4 is a book with numerous examples that give children practice in the use of a dictionary. Emphasis has been placed in finding words, definitions, grammatical forms, foreign origins and spelling.

It is essential that a quality dictionary be used, not one published for very young children, as many of the words, although not too difficult, may be beyond the normal vocabulary of children at primary level.

Answers to the exercises are found in the centre of the book and may easily be removed.
