First Creative Writing Years K-3

First Creative Writing is aimed at the child who is ready to write creatively. Some children are encouraged to begin writing at Kindergarten level, but most children do not progress far until they are wll into Year 1. This book could be useful from Kindergarten to Year 3.

Schools do motivate children to write about a variety of topics. First Creative Writing also offers a variety of topics and models, but in a structured way, so that most answers can be corrected by the parent. Many rules and reasons are explored.

Much emphasis is placed on the correct ways of writing sentences. However, the main value of the book is that children have plenty of writing to do and they are reading and writing material of a high standard.
