Picture Words Years K and under
Picture Words is a book containing 155 pictures grouped thematically - five to a page. Each picture is labelled with large lower case lettering, so that young children can learn to read what are commonly called sight words. The book is useful at three stages. The first stage is to be able to point and say what each picture represents. The next stage is to be able to read the labels, when the picture is covered and only the word remains. The third stage involves reading direct from flashcards and one page of common sight words. On page 1 there are more detailed instructions on how the book is used.
