Since moving back to Melbourne, Stacey has taught at Haileybury College, taking part in International Educational trips including visiting the Manatees in Florida, USA. She until 2021 she taught VCE Biology at Korowa Anglican Girls School and is a current VCAA assessor for Biology. Carissa Kelly graduated from RMIT with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Science. She spent 12 years in pathology in a range of departments including microbiology, biochemistry and veterinary medicine. Additionally, she was the research and development scientist in the molecular biology department and developed new diagnostic tests for human and animal disease using the latest molecular biology techniques. Since completing a Master of Teaching, Carissa has been teaching VCE Science at St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School. In 2018, she led a student group to Indonesia where they learnt about the challenges facing the local environment and planted trees in the rainforest to help combat deforestation. She is currently the Head of Science at St Paul’s Anglican Grammar and a former VCAA assessor. FEATURES

Since gaining her Master’s degree in linguistics, literature, translation, civilisation and education, Maud has taught extensively in France, England and Australia (A&AS-Level, IB and VCE). For the past 15 years, she has held leadership positions at a prestigious, award-winning independent school in Australia. Maud is a French teacher, published author, assessor and consultant, advising on educational material across the domain of languages. In the last five years, Maud has combined her teaching and curriculum expertise with her enthusiasm for interacting with other educators. She has presented a variety of highly engaging and stimulating PDs. Maud Fugier-Sola's passion lies in language teaching, curriculum planning, student engagement, mastery of the macro language skills and sharing successful strategies for quality teaching and learning experiences.

Michael has taught French in France, England and Australia (A&AS-Level, IB and VCE), mainly at secondary and tertiary level. Michael has taught Year 12 VCE and worked closely with IB students, preparing them for their oral and written examinations. He has also worked as an interpreter and translator in England. He has consulted on and authored online resources and applications for students learning French, and recorded numerous materials in French. He has been involved in multiple cultural and linguistic exchanges and immersion programs for Victorian students of French. One of Michael’s passions lies in photography as a medium to capture French social and cultural aspects, and his photos have been exhibited and published. He has a deep interest in linguistics, grammar and literature, and a particular enthusiasm for teaching methodologies for French as a second language.

Alan Chamberlain taught in NSW before teaching and studying at the University of Paris-Sorbonne. He has had a long career in teaching French. He was the Associate Professor in French at the University of New South Wales and then an Associate Professor in languages education at the University of Brunei. Alan is a well-respected co-author of the market-leading Tapis Volant series.
