ABOUT THE AUTHORS Meredith McKague is a cognitive psychologist in the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences at The University of Melbourne where she coordinates first year psychology. She was the Chief Assessor for the VCE psychology exam between 2013 and 2020. Meredith conducts research and teaching in the areas of learning, memory and language. Kenna Bradley is an experienced Psychology teacher currently teaching VCE Psychology at Strathmore Secondary College. Andrea Blunden is currently teaching at Mansfield Secondary College, Victoria. Michael Diamond holds a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Honours), a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Medical and Health Science and is a recipient of the Australian Psychological Society APS prize. He works at the intersection of psychology and data science and is interested in how technology can be applied to psychological research and practice. He also enjoys creating teaching content and training materials for psychology research methods and statistics Alysha Harkins studied Psychology at Edith Cowan University and subsequently completed a Graduate Diploma in International Health at Curtin University, both in Perth, Western Australia. She discovered a love for education while working with young people teaching in Barcelona and as a Community Outreach Officer for the WA Aids Council. After working as a Research Officer in Dhaka, Bangladesh, she returned to Australian shores to complete a Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Secondary) at the University of Melbourne. She is currently a passionate teacher of English and Psychology. Nicole completed a Bachelor of Science and Diploma of Education at Monash University and a Bachelor of Arts at Deakin University. She has taught in country and regional schools in both Government and Private sectors spanning over 30 years. During that time, Nicole has primarily taught VCE Psychology and Biology. This has seen her develop a range of curriculum resources for her students. In recent years, Nicole has written and reviewed for Cengage VCE Biology. Nicole is one of the foundation facilitators of the Nature Stewards Program – an adult environmental education program under the umbrella of Outdoors Victoria. Leigh Park has been involved in psychology education for the past 30 years. He has presented at local, national and international conferences with a focus on the connection between psychology and the outdoors. He is passionate about involving students in their learning to discover more about themselves, to explore the world around them and to develop an empathy for others. Adam Scalon has worked as a VCE Psychology teacher for almost a decade in the state education system. He’s also worked in school leadership and student management. He’s extremely passionate about the subject and encourage students to think deeply about how the concepts of psychology shape their experiences. In his work as a secondary teacher, he’s supported students to achieve consistently high results, including perfect study scores, by focussing on writing quality short-answer responses. Adina Wolters B.A, B.Sc., Dip. Ed. (Psychology and Maths) is a current teacher of Psychology and Head of Psychology for Years 10 - 12 at Mount Scopus Memorial College. She has been teaching Psychology for 25 years with a particular passion for experiential learning. She is also a long-term presenter at Psychology teachers' conferences. FEATURES
