2020 VCE Examination Schedule
VCAA Examination Rules All Students Must Know
All students needing to undergo VCAA exams have the responsibility to read and understand the GAT and VCA exam rules. Furthermore, they must become familiar with all materials and equipment to be used in the GAT and VCE written examinations.
2020 VCE Examination Schedule
- Students must observe the starting time of their examinations and arrive at least 30 minutes earlier. Also, they must be aware of the rules regarding the late admission to these examinations.
- The starting time for the afternoon sessions of Thursday 12 November, Friday 13 November, Monday 23 November and Tuesday 24 November, is 2pm on days with only two scheduled sessions.
- On days with three scheduled sessions, the starting time of the afternoon sessions is 3.00pm.
- The 15-minute reading period preceding each examination is included in the timetable unless otherwise specified.
- The language of all written responses should be in English, unless otherwise specified in the question book of each individual exam.
- For the oral sessions of Performance examinations, Language examinations and Extended Investigation oral sessions, students will receive individual examination advice slips. They must show their photo identification and their examination advice slips in order to be allowed to take their assessments. Some of the students in rural areas may have to attend various venues in Melbourne.
- Following is a list of written examinations that have an audio component: English as an Additional Language, Music Composition and Style, Music Performance, VET Music Industry: Sound Production and all Languages including Chinese Language, Culture and Society. Exceptions: Indigenous Languages of Victoria, Classical Hebrew, Classical Greek and Latin.
